Gáldar acogerá una nueva edición del Gran Canaria Frontón King Festival

 

Del 20 de octubre al 3 de noviembre está establecido el periodo de espera para una nueva edición del campeonato internacional de bodyboard que se viene celebrando cada año en la que está considerada una de las mejores olas del mundo: El Frontón.

El alcalde de Gáldar, Teodoro Sosa, junto al concejal de Actividad Física, Deporte y Salud, Ancor Bolaños, mantuvieron una nueva toma de contacto con Máximo Torres y Daniel Hernández, promotores del evento que este año estrena formato dando igualdad de condiciones a todos los participantes, además de premios especiales.

Daniel Hernández y Máximo Torres mostraban su agradecimiento al Ayuntamiento de Gáldar por apostar una vez más por este evento que acoge a riders provenientes de todas las partes del mundo. Por su parte, Teodoro Sosa afirmaba que Gáldar tiene unas condiciones únicas para la práctica del bodyboard lo que hace que nuestro municipio tenga una gran cantera. “Desde el Ayuntamiento continuaremos apoyando este tipo de eventos que fomentan la práctica deportiva en nuestro municipio”, afirmó.

Paralelo al campeonato se celebrarán en Gáldar una serie de eventos y actos destinados dar a conocer la práctica del bodyboard además de un festival que se celebrará el sábado 20 de octubre.
